Dakos – auch bekannt als Bruschetta

Diese vollmundige Vorspeise kann die gesamte mediterrane Essenz in einem einzigen Bissen vereinen. Zweimal gebackenes, sogenanntes Paximadi Brot, ein reichhaltiger weißer Käse und Olivenpaste aus Kalamon-Oliven geben hier den Ton an

  • 6 Scheiben Paximadi (zweimal gebackenes Brot)
  • 6 Esslöffel weicher weißer Ziegenkäse
  • 1 Knoblauchzehe, geschält und zerdrückt
  • einige sonnengetrocknete Tomaten optional
  • frisch gehackte Petersilie
  • 6 Teelöffel Olivenpaste aus Kalamon Oliven
  • Olivenöl

Zubereitung: Nehmen Sie die Paximadi Brote, halten diese kurz unter fließendes Wasser und legen Sie dann auf einen großen Teller. Reiben Sie mit der Knoblauchzehe leicht über die Oberflächen des Paximadi Brotes, bis sie ein würziges Knoblaucharoma aufnehmen. Dann 1 Esslöffel Ziegenweichkäse (oder Feta) auf jedes Brot geben, verteilen und anschließend mit einem Teelöffel Olivenpaste bestreichen. Das Ganze mit gehackten getrockneten Tomaten und Petersilie bestreuen. Als krönenden Abschluss beträufeln Sie das Ganze mit etwas Olivenöl und bestreuen es mit Oregano.   Genießen diese einfache und schnelle Vorspeise die in seiner Farbenpracht mit verschiedensten Aromen Griechenlands überzeugt. Welch ein Genuss.

Tipp: Wenn Sie kein Paximadi Brot zur Verfügung haben, verwenden Sie Baguettebrot, schneiden es in 2 cm dicke Scheiben und backen es im Ofen vor bis es schön knusprig ist.
